Soy Lecithin Liquid
Soy lecithin is extracted from soybeans and consists of a mixture of three main phospholipids (phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine and phosophotidylinositol), glycolipids, neutral lipids and sugars. Soy lecithin is commercially available and can be used in a variety of products from food to pet food pharma to plastics and other industrial applications. Soy lecithin is a source of the essential nutrient, choline, which is available in some foods and as a supplement (granules).
There is some evidence that the essential nutrients found in lecithin and choline (phosphatidylcholine) may play a role in memory and cognitive function, as well as liver function. Emerging evidence also indicates that choline may play a role in physical performance. Soy Lecithin is a food additive, generally used as emulsifier. It is pure soy lecithin, non modified, non fractioned. Soy Lecithin is widely used in several industries including; Biscuits, Chocolates, Confectioneries, Bakeries, Food Products, Margarine, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Paints/Printing Inks, Veterinary Medicine, Feed Products, Adhesives, etc. Soy Lecithin Feed Grade acts as an emulsifier and a great source of choline for the feed industry. Its Phospholipids content act as a great nutrient for the animal feed. Soy Lecithin is used for feed production in Poultry Food, Aqua Feed, Shrimp Feed, and Pig Feed.
